- Providing the stone industry with local educated, trained and qualified students holds a diploma degree in "management and technology of stone and marble."
- Dispense of implementation of the tests for the quality of the stone in the Israeli and international laboratories, through its implementation in the testing lab of PSMC.
- Capacity building for the employees in stone sector.
- Rehabilitation of the stone quality testing laboratory for international accreditation after it has been accredited locally.
- Strengthen the relationship with the stone sector and the related sectors.
- Applied research related to sustainable development.
- Arrange and organize training courses and workshops for employees working in stone and marble industries and related sectors.
- Contribute in development of standards and specifications in stone and marble industry.
